Paul and Suzanne hosted a crew party/season kick off tonight. We were all asked to bring an appetizer to share - I made soft pretzels, based on this Tasting Table recipe. They were fairly straightforward and easy to make, but because of the proofing, did take most of the day. Flipping the dough ropes into the traditional pretzel shape was fun! :) I used a combination of salt, caraway seed, fennel seed, and celery seed for the topping.
