I still have quite a bit of the nut & seed bread leftover from last week. It hadn't really turned out but I didn't want to toss it, because it is fairly healthy and nutrient dense, and I was unsure what to do with the rest of it.
My routine after spin class is to usually make a protein shake; tonight I thought I'd blend the bread in. Why not?
Taste-wise it was pretty good, but it didn't fully incorporate. I was left with a thin gruel at the bottom of the glass - mostly psyllium seed husks, I think - that had to be dug out with a spoon. Texture-wise, I think this would be good to mix into muesli. Next time.
