Question: What is better than freshly baked bread straight out of the oven?
Answer: Not much. Tonight's version comes in the form of southern style biscuits.
I make biscuits on a regular basis, mainly because they're so quick and easy. It takes 20 minutes, start to finish, and by the time they come out of the oven, the kitchen's clean too. I decided to vary it up a bit, throwing in a little bit of pepper jack I had in the fridge. The cheese added a good salty/spicyness, and I was still able to eat them with jam :)
